More garage turnover through air-conditioning check-upsSchwäbisch Hall, February 2010.With the slogan “Don’t save in the wrong place - Go for an air-conditioning check-up!” Hella is providing wholesalers and garages a whole range of useful information for the Thermal Management Campaign 2010 to convince car drivers of the advantages of air-conditioning servicing. At the end of the day, smaller investments in air-conditioning check-ups and service help to avoid possible high repair costs later. Thus the sales promotion measures and practical garage aids offered by Hella within the context of the Thermal Management Campaign - combined with the breadth and depth of the product range for passenger cars and commercial vehicles covering more than 6,000 items for vehicle air-conditioning and engine cooling from Behr Hella Service - provide an excellent base for boosting garage turnover.
The information provided within the campaign is tailor-made for passenger car and commercial vehicle garages respectively. The passenger car package contains material for outdoor advertising and technical garage aids. The inflatable penguin, a banner or a door sign are clearly visible references to the campaign, for example. Supported by a poster containing photos and short texts, car drivers are informed about the problems that can occur if checks are not carried out. In addition, text modules are provided for straightforward and fast customer communication. This way, garages can prepare mailings quickly and efficiently simply by copying. Related flyers which concisely list the arguments in favour of air-conditioning services are also very useful. An air-conditioning booklet and stickers for the door frame or engine bay document the air-conditioning or engine cooling check-ups - reminding customers of their next check-up date at the same time. “Penguin air fresheners" also help remind car drivers how to use their air-conditioning system correctly. For day-to-day work in the garage itself, the refrigerant filling quantities manual is of great use, providing updated data and supplements for new vehicles on a total of 92 pages. The know-how tool - available either as a CD or through the Internet - has also been supplemented by new technical information and brought up-to-date, and now contains the complete engine cooling, air-conditioning and intercooler circuit.
The commercial vehicles package has been matched to the special requirements of commercial vehicles garages. The package contains a flyer, for example, which sets out the necessity and advantages of the air-conditioning check to commercial vehicles garages, fleet managers at transport companies as well as truck drivers themselves. It also includes exemplary calculations that make clear how much can be saved by having an air-conditioning check-up carried out. Corresponding standard texts are also designed to help commercial vehicles garages reach customers more easily through mailing campaigns. Another flyer indicates the advantages of PAO-Oil 68, the versatile air-conditioning compressor oil from Behr Hella Service, the thermal management experts. A checklist is also part of the package, so that the salesman can quickly identify the service parts and consumables required during the sales talk. Updated product summaries that list the service parts available for the most common commercial vehicle brands also help to find quality service parts from Behr Hella Service fast. The commercial vehicles garage can also document the checks carried out using the air-conditioning booklet and stickers specially designed for commercial vehicles.
