Behr Brasil Inaugurates New Technology Center

Covering a floor area of 1,200 qm, the center houses over 20 different testing and measuring facilities that include a calorimeter and a wind tunnel. The wide spectrum of services ranges from simulation and prototype construction to material analysis and mechanical testing.

“The new Technology Center brings the full expertise of the Behr Group to our market”, stated Max Forte, CEO of Behr Brasil, at the inauguration. “As a result, we are better positioned to meet the needs of our customers and to generate innovative solutions. In future, we will be more successful in competing for new air conditioning and engine cooling projects.”

Harald Becker-Ehmck said he rates the opening of the center “as a sign that the Behr Group firmly believes in the Brazilian market”. The Centro Tecnológico will work in close cooperation with the other Technology Centers of the Behr Group in order to promote global innovations in addition to local development projects. It is also to serve as a training center for future development engineers.
